Lao 100-Day Ceremony
This is a Lao 100 day ceremony. This Laotian tradition takes place when a death happens in the family. The body is cremated but spirit lives and lingers this earth for 100 days, spiritually blessing and saying their goodbyes. On the 100th day, the family has a ceremony to finally give their last goodbyes and send the departed to the afterlife. This is a day of thankfulness, remembrance, and celebration.
